You’ve heard the saying, “What you don’t know, won’t hurt you.” While it’s a quick and convenient way to say you’re not worried about the details, when it comes to CNC machining, the more you know the better educated you’ll be to partner with a capable CNC machine shop that can deliver results.

Roberson Machine Company is that machine shop. We’ve been creating high-quality custom parts through our CNC milling services with a strong focus on aluminum and stainless steel machining since 2002. We’re American made all the way and conveniently located under two hour’s drive from St. Louis and less than an hour’s drive from Jefferson City. Situated in the heart of the midwest, our agile shop can perform some of the most complex CNC machining and tool making procedures in the industry.

Here’s a list of our offerings:

  • 3-, 4-, 5- and Multi-Axis Machining
  • Wire EDM Services
  • Prototype Machining Services
  • Production Machining Services
  • Robotic Loading
  • And more

All of the above services come with a customer satisfaction guarantee. Working with us is a painless process from prototype machining to full production. We have the capabilities, experience and attention to detail to get the job done right and with quick turnaround times.

Industries We Serve
Whether you’re an entrepreneur looking for prototyping and your first production run or a large corporation in need of better pricing and large production runs, Roberson Machine Company can handle your full-service needs from beginning to end. We’re extremely competitive in our pricing and adhere to rigorous quality standards to ensure the job gets completed with the utmost precision and care required, no matter what industry you’re in. Here are some primary industries we serve in CNC machining, turning and tool making.

Oil and Energy Machining
With a strong investment in our equipment over the years, we’re able to provide precision CNC machining services to the oil, gas and energy sectors. Our diverse lineup of machines allows us to build highly reliable products for the industry like pipes, flanges and connectors with excellent strength, parts for motors, housings, pumps and other items that withstand the harsh conditions of established oil wells. We also will machine with materials that a lot of CNC machine shops simply won’t work with. Materials like HDPE, PEEK, Delrin, Nylon and other metals like bronze and brass name just a few of the less common materials that we work with.

Medical Device Machining
When it comes to machining medical devices, it’s not just about 3- & 4-axis machining. There are a wealth of techniques and equipment required to create tools that need to be highly precise and are often quite small. Along with our rigorous standards focused towards our CNC milling, turning and EDM machining, we also perform bending, welding, fabrication, deburring and tumbling, engraving and assembly of your medical devices. We also work extremely close with you before the production phase gets started. Customer service is a top priority so we make sure to allow for close collaboration on prototype discussions and make sure implementation is smooth and communicative throughout the entire process.

Robotics / Automotive / Automation
We’ve worked tirelessly to help offer the same superior service and quality to our customers, all while lowering their price points to make their production runs easier to manage. In the last year, Roberson Machine Company has added an extensive amount of equipment dedicated to robotic machine tending. Human intervention has long been a vital cog in the machine to make sure that tight tolerances are achieved but now, with the help of the high quality robot loading machines we’ve added, we can now achieve these tolerances around the clock.

Our machines literally work overnight to allow for quality made products, lower costs, fast turnaround times and flexible delivery. We can also provide CMM inspection on each part that exits Roberson’s doors.

Consumer & Commercial CNC Machining
We’re a one stop shop for prototype to production machining. Serving dozens of consumer and commercial industries, we’ve been able to provide consistent customer service and impeccably produced products for over a decade. Some of the most common production runs we complete for consumer and commercial industries are:

  • Packaging equipment
  • Outdoor power equipment
  • Cleaning equipment
  • Aftermarket products
  • And more

Not only are we experts in all things machining, we also offer in-house turnkey services like welding, bending, fabrication and assembly.

No Need to Look Elsewhere
While we may not be located in the biggest city or have the largest shop floor, we have the equipment, capabilities and level of care and service to provide you products machined to the highest-quality standards. Every run we complete is aimed to provide fantastic service to you, to cut down on costs and to make sure delivery is quick and painless.
